Walton Evangelical Church is a growing church, numbering around 150 adults and children, based in the Walton Estate in Chesterfield. We were planted from Holmgate Evangelical Church in Clay Cross in 1986 and are affiliated with the FIEC.
Are you passionate about serving Jesus and exploring a call to gospel ministry? Walton Evangelical Church is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Ministry Trainee Scheme. This one- or two-year programme combines biblical training, one-to-one discipleship, and hands-on ministry experience in a supportive church family. You’ll be equipped through the Midlands Ministry Training Course and involved in a wide range of ministries including youth and children’s work, outreach, pastoral care, and more—tailored to your gifts and interests. Whether you’re considering full-time ministry or simply wanting to grow in service, we’d love to hear from you.
