Church Planter

We are looking for a godly Christ-dependent man to identify areas of West Kent into which a new church can be planted and to then become lead Pastor of the church plant. This post has been created to fulfil our desire for gospel growth in surrounding areas given new housing developments and population growth. This is a senior full-time appointment with incumbent-level stipend and house. Initial employment will be for two years as one of the Pastors in St John’s Church. Tapered funding will be provided thereafter to the church plant for a period of time. St John’s Tunbridge Wells is a conservative evangelical church in the Diocese of Rochester, under the oversight of the Bishop of Ebbsfleet. We are a church family of 430 (350 adults) and offer a warm welcome to those who want to join us on Sundays and mid-week. We are supported by a team of 10 full time and part time staff.
