Leader in Training

OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
The Leader in Training role is designed to immerse the individual for 3-4 years in the life of the
local church while pursuing rigorous theological education. The aim is to equip men for pastoral
leadership through hands-on ministry experience, mentorship, and formal education. The role
includes the following objectives:
• Faithfully preach and teach God’s Word in a variety of situations.
• Shepherd and provide pastoral care to the congregation.
• Lead and participate in worship services, small groups and prayer gatherings.
• Engage in evangelism and equip others for mission.
• Nurture and develop spiritual gifts for future service in ministry.
• Develop a heart for strategic leadership and church growth.
