St James, Muswell Hill, is a vibrant multi-generational, ethnically diverse evangelical church in North London. We have 2 main services, 10.30am and 6pm, plus a smaller 8am communion service. The 1030 has children’s and younger youth provision, and the overall congregation is around 200 adults. The 6pm service has about 70 people including the older youth who meet afterwards for teaching and fellowship. As a church family we enjoy learning together, singing God’s praises, serving and encouraging one another. There are a range of small groups in different locations meeting on different days for bible study and fellowship.
We are looking for a passionate Christian to expand our Youth and Children’s Ministry team. Depending on your skills and experience you will either lead on our ministry to Youth or Children. Working alongside our existing team member, Wilson Weaver, you will help shape discipleship and evangelism across the next generation. This role will suit someone with week to week experience of children or youth ministry in an evangelical church context. We are happy to support further training and development.
